Microsoft Corporation acquired Zoomix, a transaction announced in July 2008.
Zoomix operates in SQL Server data platform, is based in Israel. Zoomix was an Israeli developer of self-learning, semantic data-quality and data-classification software used to cleanse and match enterprise data. Microsoft acquired the company to strengthen the master-data-management and data-quality capabilities of its SQL Server data platform.
Add automated data-quality and classification technology to Microsoft's data platform and master-data-management roadmap.
