Secure Islands operates in Azure Rights Management Service / Azure / Office 365, is based in Israel. Secure Islands, an Israeli company, provides data classification, protection and loss-prevention technology for a wide range of file types. Microsoft acquired it to strengthen information protection across on-premises systems, Azure, Office 365, third-party services and devices, integrating the technology into Azure Rights Management Service.
The deal accelerates Microsoft's ability to help customers secure business data wherever it is stored and adds advanced information protection to Azure Rights Management.
