Lumenisity operates in Azure (cloud infrastructure), is based in United Kingdom (spun out of the University of Southampton). Lumenisity is an innovator in hollow core fiber (HCF) cabling, a technology that carries data faster and more securely than conventional silica optical fiber. Microsoft acquired it to optimize its global cloud infrastructure and better serve customers with strict latency and security requirements.
