GreenButton operates in Microsoft Azure (Big Compute / HPC), is based in New Zealand. GreenButton, a New Zealand-based company, provided integrated on-demand solutions that let customers run compute-intensive (big compute / HPC) workloads in the cloud without recoding their existing software. Microsoft acquired it to integrate those capabilities into Azure and make large-scale simulation and data processing simpler for industries from science and finance to media.
