Dimension X operates in Internet Explorer / DirectX, is based in San Francisco, California, USA. Dimension X, founded in 1995 as one of the first Java start-ups, built Java-based multimedia tools including the Liquid Motion authoring tool and the Liquid Reality VRML browser and runtime. Microsoft acquired the San Francisco company to reinforce its Java and multimedia commitment and enhance Internet Explorer and the DirectX APIs.
Add Java-based multimedia authoring and 3D/VRML technology to Internet Explorer and DirectX.
