Microsoft Corporation acquired 6Wunderkinder, a transaction announced in June 2015.
6Wunderkinder operates in OneNote / Office productivity portfolio, is based in Germany. 6Wunderkinder was a Berlin-based startup that created Wunderlist, a highly acclaimed to-do list app with more than 13 million users who had created over a billion tasks. Microsoft acquired it to strengthen its mobile-first, cloud-first productivity portfolio alongside OneNote, Office and Skype.
The deal reflects Microsoft's commitment to delivering market-leading cross-platform mobile apps for mail, calendar, messaging, notes and tasks.
