HONEYWELL INTERNATIONAL INC acquired Kolon Films, structured as Asset acquisition (BON nylon films facility).
Kolon Films operates in Specialty Materials (later Performance Materials and Technologies), is based in Dangjin, South Korea. Honeywell acquired Kolon Industries' biaxially oriented nylon (BON) films business, including its production facility in Dangjin, South Korea. The deal expanded Honeywell's Specialty Materials barrier-films portfolio and gave it one of its early manufacturing footholds in South Korea.
Strengthen Honeywell's position in barrier/nylon films technologies and add Asian manufacturing capacity.
