Occam Video Solutions operates in Software / digital video investigation. Occam Video Solutions was the maker of iNPUT-ACE, a leading forensic video investigation software used to accurately play back and analyze thousands of proprietary video-evidence formats in a forensically sound manner. Axon had first partnered with Occam in 2020 to allow law enforcement to play third-party videos within Axon Evidence. Following the acquisition, the Occam team joined Axon and iNPUT-ACE was relaunched as Axon Investigate.
The acquisition strengthened Axon's digital-evidence software by adding industry-leading forensic video playback and investigation capabilities. Occam's iNPUT-ACE technology powers Axon's third-party video playback and was relaunched as Axon Investigate, giving investigators a forensically sound way to unlock and share video evidence through to the courtroom.
