ADTRAN acquired SmartRG, Inc., a Vancouver, Washington-based provider of carrier-class, open-source connected-home platforms and cloud services for broadband service providers. SmartRG brought cloud-management and analytics, Wi-Fi-enabled residential gateways and its SmartOS software platform. Its executive team and employees were retained for the transition.
