Cimatron Ltd. operates in Products and Services / Software, is based in Israel. 3D Systems signed a definitive agreement in November 2014 to buy Cimatron for $8.97 per share, roughly $97 million including net cash, and completed the deal in February 2015. Cimatron was a leading supplier of integrated 3D CAD/CAM software for the manufacturing sector, anchored by its GibbsCAM and CimatronE product lines for tooling, mold and die work. The addition broadened 3D Systems' design-to-manufacturing software and widened its direct and reseller coverage worldwide.
