Diane K. Duren has served on Werner Enterprises' Board since being elected by stockholders in May 2017 and chairs the Compensation Committee. She contributes prior executive leadership experience along with expertise in finance, accounting and human resources.
She retired from Union Pacific Corporation in February 2017, having served for four years as Executive Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer and Corporate Secretary. Her 32-year tenure at Union Pacific also included roles in finance and as a vice president and general manager in chemical marketing/sales and agricultural products. Early in her career she was a certified public accountant with Deloitte, Haskins & Sells.
