Nina Chen-Langenmayr has served as a director of Universal Health Services since 2022 and sits on its Quality and Compliance and Compensation committees. Eileen C. McDonnell has served as a director of Universal Health Services since 2013 and serves as the board's lead director, chairing both the Audit and Compensation committees. She previously served as Chairman and CEO of The Penn Mutual Life Insurance Company, which she joined in 2008 and where she retired as CEO in 2021 after a decade in that role; she was appointed to the Penn Mutual Board of Trustees in 2010 and retired from it in March 2026. Before joining Penn Mutual she founded ExecMPower, a strategic planning and executive coaching consultancy, and she has served as a Director of the Insurance Federation of Pennsylvania.

Elliot J. Sussman, M.D. has served as a director of Universal Health Services since 2018 and chairs its Nominating and Governance and Quality and Compliance committees. He was Founder and Chairman of The Villages Health from 2012 to 2026 and previously served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Lehigh Valley Hospital and Health Network from 1993 to 2010. He was a member of the Board of Directors of Yale New Haven Health System from 2011 to 2023 and previously chaired the boards of the Council of Teaching Hospitals and of the Association of American Medical Colleges.

Warren J. Nimetz has served as a director of Universal Health Services since 2018 and sits on its Executive and Finance committees. He is currently Of Counsel and was previously a Partner at the law firm of Norton Rose Fulbright US LLP, which he joined in 1987. UHS has utilized and currently utilizes Norton Rose Fulbright US LLP as outside counsel.

Maria R. Singer has served as a director of Universal Health Services since 2020 and sits on its Audit, Finance, Nominating and Governance, and Quality and Compliance committees. She is Chief Operating Officer, Corporate Finance at Houlihan Lokey, and previously served as Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer of Blackstone Advisory Partners from 2008 to 2015. Earlier she held various roles at Lehman Brothers, Inc. from 2002 to 2008, including Senior Vice President, Office of the Chairman and Senior Vice President, Debt Capital Markets.

Alan B. Miller founded Universal Health Services in 1978 and served as its Chief Executive Officer from inception until he stepped down from that role effective January 1, 2021 and assumed the position of Executive Chairman of the Board. Prior to founding UHS he was Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer and President of American Medicorp, Inc. He continues to serve as Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Chief Executive Officer and President of Universal Health Realty Income Trust, and is the father of Marc D. Miller, the company's CEO.

Marc D. Miller was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Universal Health Services effective January 1, 2021 and continues to serve as President, a role he has held since May 2009. He previously served as Senior Vice President and Co-Head of the company's Acute Care Division from 2007, as Vice President from 2005, and in various acute care roles beginning in 2000; he was elected a Director in 2006. He serves on the Board of Trustees of Universal Health Realty Income Trust and was a member of the Board of Directors of Premier, Inc. from 2015 until Premier was sold in November 2025. He is the son of Executive Chairman Alan B. Miller.

Steve G. Filton is Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Secretary of Universal Health Services. He was elected Executive Vice President in 2017 and has served as Chief Financial Officer since his appointment in 2003 and as Secretary since 1999. He previously served as Senior Vice President from 2003, as Vice President and Controller from 1991, and as Director of Corporate Accounting from 1985.

Edward H. Sim joined Universal Health Services in December 2022 as Executive Vice President and President of the company's Acute Care Division. He was formerly Chief Operating Officer at Centura Health, a role he held from 2017. Before joining Centura Health, he served in senior leadership roles of increasing responsibility for 11 years at Baptist Health.
