Dr. S.S. Lin is TSMC's Vice President of Research & Development/Platform Technology, promoted to Vice President in February 2026 after several Senior Director roles in R&D platform technology and integration. He joined TSMC in 2000, held various research and development positions, and holds a Ph.D. in electronics engineering from National Chiao Tung University.
