Dr. Michael Wu is TSMC's Senior Vice President of Research & Development/Platform Technology, promoted to Senior Vice President in February 2026 after serving as Vice President of R&D/Platform Technology and Platform Development. He joined TSMC in 1996, participated in advanced CMOS technology development, and holds a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
