Sabre's official site notes that as Chief Commercial Officer and Executive Vice President, Roshan Mendis led global sales, account management, commercial operations, business development and customer support across Sabre's full customer portfolio, spanning both travel commerce and Airline IT. He was appointed Chief Commercial Officer of Sabre's Travel Network business in March 2018.
Sabre notes he is a 20-year veteran of the travel technology industry who previously led the APAC region for Travel Network and was instrumental in the acquisition and integration of Singapore-based GDS Abacus International. A native of Sri Lanka, he holds an MBA in marketing and finance from Rice University and a bachelor's degree in economics from Chaminade University of Honolulu.
