Brian A. Bales was named Executive Vice President, Chief Development Officer of Republic Services in February 2015. He has been with Republic for over 25 years.
He served as Executive Vice President, Business Development from December 2008 to February 2015, and as Vice President, Corporate Development from 1998 to December 2008. Prior to Republic he held roles of increasing responsibility in finance and business development for Ryder System, Inc. from 1993 to 1998, served as chief financial officer for EDIFEX & VTA Communications from 1988 through 1993, and was an accountant for PwC (formerly Price Waterhouse) from 1986 to 1988.
