James Bylund was named COO of the Company in January 2022 and serves as the Company's principal operating officer. He joined Repligen in March of 2020 as Senior Vice President, Global Operations and IT, overseeing all operations and IT functions on a global basis.

Between March 2019 and March 2020, Mr. Bylund also worked in real estate at Inspire Development in Austin, Texas. Prior to joining Repligen, Mr. Bylund spent ten years at Thermo Fisher in a number of roles including Vice President and General Manager of the Single Use Technologies Business Unit and Vice President of Global Operations for the Bioproduction Division. Prior to Thermo Fisher, Mr. Bylund also worked for Fiserv (nine years) and Eli Lilly and Company (seven years) in a variety of leadership roles.

He holds a B.S. in Accounting from Utah State University and an M.B.A. from Indiana University.
