David Stringer was named Chief Legal Officer in January 2024, leading Progressive's Legal Group in support of all business units and the Board of Directors. He joined Progressive in 2004 as Senior Counsel and served as Deputy General Counsel - Corporate Litigation and Employment before his current role, joining from Ropes & Gray LLP; he holds a bachelor's degree from Rutgers University and a law degree from Harvard Law School.
