Bill Clawson was named chief human resources officer in November 2021 after serving as Progressive's business leader for compensation and benefits, responsible for organization-wide people policies and programs. He began at Progressive in 2004 in the Personal Lines organization, held roles across Customer Acquisition and product management, and previously worked at McKinsey & Company and Procter & Gamble; he holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
