M. Terry Turner President, Chief Executive Officer & Director

M. Terry Turner is a co-founder of Pinnacle Financial Partners and Pinnacle Bank and has served as the company's President and Chief Executive Officer since its organization in 2000. A 1976 industrial-management graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology, he began his career at Arthur Andersen & Company before joining Park National Bank in 1979 and then First American National Bank in Nashville in 1985, where over a 14-year career he served as President of the General Bank and President of the Investment Services Group.

Robert A. McCabe, Jr. Chairman of the Board & Chairman of Tennessee

Robert A. McCabe, Jr. is a co-founder of Pinnacle Financial Partners and has served as Chairman of the Board of the company and the bank since their formation in 2000, adding the role of Chairman of Tennessee in 2017. He began his banking career at Park National Bank of Knoxville in 1976 and spent more than two decades at First American, where he was named a vice chairman of First American Corporation from 1994 to 1999. He also serves as a director of Nashville Electric Service and National Health Investors.

Richard D. Callicutt, II Chairman of the Carolinas and Virginia & Director

Richard D. Callicutt, II has served as Chairman of the Carolinas and Virginia for Pinnacle Financial Partners and Pinnacle Bank since June 2017, when the company acquired BNC Bancorp. He was employed by Bank of North Carolina from 1991 and served as president and chief executive officer of BNC from June 2013 until the merger, bringing more than 30 years of banking experience. He is a trustee of High Point University and a board member of the North Carolina Chamber of Commerce.

Abney S. Boxley, III Lead Independent Director

Abney S. Boxley, III has served as Pinnacle's Lead Independent Director since March 2024 and joined the board in June 2017 upon the company's acquisition of BNC Bancorp, where he had been a director. Since December 2021 he has been chairman of Boxley Ready Mix and Boxley Family, LLC and a consultant to Summit Materials, Inc., having previously served as an executive vice president and east-region president of Summit Materials and, from 1988 to 2018, as president and CEO of Boxley Materials Company. He also serves on the boards of RGC Resources, Inc. and Insteel Industries, Inc.

Charles E. Brock Director

Charles E. Brock is CEO of Brock Partnerships, LLC, which provides consulting services and investment capital to small and mid-sized firms in the Southeast, and joined the Pinnacle board in July 2015 when the company acquired CapitalMark Bank & Trust, of which he was an organizer and director. He served as chief executive officer of Launch Tennessee from 2013 to 2018 and co-founded Foxmark Media in 1998, growing it into a leading mall-advertising company before its 2006 sale. He is a director of The Dixie Group, Inc.

Renda J. Burkhart is a certified public accountant who joined the Pinnacle board in June 2015 and, until her retirement in May 2024, served as a Private Client Partner of FORVIS. She founded Burkhart & Company, P.C., a Knoxville-based CPA firm serving family offices, and led it as president from 1982 until it joined Dixon Hughes Goodman in 2021. She currently chairs the board of University Health System.

Gregory L. Burns Director

Gregory L. Burns is president of Gregory Burns Consulting Group, LLC and the former chairman and chief executive officer of O'Charley's Inc., a Nashville-based public restaurant company he joined in 1983 as controller and led as CEO from 1994 until his retirement in 2009. He joined the Pinnacle board in 2001 and has been designated an audit committee financial expert, having earlier served as CFO of Nashville Banner Publishing Company and a senior accountant at Price Waterhouse. He chairs the board's Risk Committee.

Thomas C. Farnsworth, III is president and owner of Farnsworth Investment Company, a real estate development firm where he has spent his entire business career, and joined the Pinnacle board in September 2015. He had served as a director of Magna Bank from 2004 until its merger with Pinnacle Bank in 2015 and is involved in developing the Harmony Reserve retirement community in Vero Beach, Florida. He earned an economics degree from Southern Methodist University.

Dr. Glenda Baskin Glover is a certified public accountant and attorney who joined the Pinnacle board in December 2013 and served as president of Tennessee State University from January 2013 until her retirement in May 2024. She previously spent nearly two decades as Dean of the College of Business at Jackson State University and has served on the boards of three other public companies, including First Guaranty Bancshares. She holds an MBA from Clark Atlanta University, a doctorate in business from George Washington University and a law degree from Georgetown University.

David B. Ingram Director

David B. Ingram has served since 1996 in a variety of roles at Ingram Entertainment Inc., including chairman and CEO, and joined the Pinnacle board in July 2016 upon the company's acquisition of Avenue Financial Holdings, where he had been a director. He founded DBI Beverage Inc. in 2002 and sold it in 2019 when it was the second-largest beer distributor in California. He is a member of the board of directors of Vanderbilt University.

Decosta E. Jenkins is the former president and chief executive officer of Nashville Electric Service, one of the largest public utilities in the United States, which he joined in 1991 and led as CEO from 2004 until his retirement in June 2022. A certified public accountant who spent 11 years in Deloitte's audit practice, he joined the Pinnacle board in March 2021, chairs its Audit Committee and has been designated an audit committee financial expert. He also serves on the boards of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Tennessee and i3 Verticals, Inc.

Kennedy Thompson served as president and chief executive officer of Wachovia Corporation from 1999 to 2008, capping a 32-year career at Wachovia and First Union, and was later a principal of the private-equity firm Aquiline Capital Partners LLC from 2009 until 2019. He joined the Pinnacle board in June 2017 with the BNC Bancorp acquisition and currently serves on the boards of LendingTree, Inc. and Insteel Industries, Inc. He holds a B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an MBA from Wake Forest University.

Charissa D. Sumerlin Chief Credit Officer

Charissa D. Sumerlin has served as Pinnacle Bank's Chief Credit Officer since July 2024, having joined the bank in 2018 as a credit advisor focused on commercial real estate and later serving as a senior credit officer for the Charlotte, North Carolina and South Carolina markets and as deputy chief credit officer from 2022 to 2024. She began her career at SunTrust Bank in Atlanta in 2002 and spent the following decade at BB&T in roles including relationship manager, credit advisor, team lead and regional credit officer.

J. Harvey White Senior Credit Officer

J. Harvey White joined Pinnacle in June 2009 and served as the company's Chief Credit Officer from September 2009 to December 2019, later serving as a senior credit officer and as Interim Chief Credit Officer from November 2023 until July 2024. He resumed his senior credit officer duties in the bank's East Tennessee market following Ms. Sumerlin's promotion, and was a named executive officer for 2024. He had earlier been employed by Regions Financial Corporation and its predecessors, including First American Corporation, beginning in 1981.
