Brian LaRose was appointed Petco's Chief Financial Officer effective August 19, 2021, having joined the company in September 2020 as Senior Vice President, Finance responsible for budgeting, forecasting, investor relations, controllership and treasury.
He served as CFO until February 17, 2025, when he was succeeded by Sabrina Simmons, then remained a full-time non-officer employee providing transition services through April 30, 2025.
Before Petco he spent 20 years at HP Inc., where he was Divisional CFO of the 3D business unit and led the separation management office during HP's split into two Fortune 50 companies, and earlier led HP's SEC reporting group and investor relations across more than 15 countries.
He began his career at Deloitte in its mergers-and-acquisitions and audit practices.
