David Denton will become Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of NIKE, Inc. effective in mid-August 2026, succeeding Matthew Friend under the CFO transition plan announced June 23, 2026.
Mr. Denton joins NIKE from Pfizer Inc., where he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since May 2022. He previously served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Lowe's Companies, Inc. from November 2018 to April 2022, and brings more than 30 years of finance and operational experience. He holds a BS from Kansas State University and an MBA from Wake Forest University.
