Gary S. Gladstein is currently an independent investor and consultant. He served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Mueller Industries from 2013 to 2015, and was previously a director of the Company from 1990 to 1994.

From the beginning of 2000 to August 31, 2004, he was a Senior Consultant at Soros Fund Management. He was a partner and Chief Operating Officer at Soros Fund Management from 1985 until his retirement at the end of 1999.

He was nominated to serve as a director of the Company because of his financial and accounting expertise, combined with his years of experience providing strategic advisory services to complex organizations. Having been a member of the compensation, audit and other committees of public company boards, he is deeply familiar with corporate governance issues. He currently serves as Chairman of the Compensation and Personnel Development Committee.
