Elizabeth R. Gile retired in 2005 from Deutsche Bank AG, where she had been Managing Director and Global Head of the Loan Exposure Management Group since 2003, with global responsibility for managing the credit risk of loans and lending-related commitments. From 2007 to 2009 she was Managing Director and Senior Strategic Advisor to BlueMountain Capital Management, a hedge fund management company.

Before Deutsche Bank she spent 24 years with J.P. Morgan in areas spanning credit risk, credit analysis and research, lending, credit market trading, counterparty risk, and portfolio management. She chairs KeyCorp's Risk Committee, serves on the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee, and is a trustee of the Brooklyn Botanic Garden.
