Kennametal Inc Leadership

Joseph Alvarado is the retired Chairman, President and CEO of Commercial Metals Company (CMC), a global manufacturer, recycler and marketer of steel and other metals, which he joined in April 2010 as EVP and COO, became President and CEO in September 2011, and where he served as Chairman from January 2013 until his retirement in January 2018. He has served on Kennametal's Board since 2018 and chairs the Nominating/Corporate Governance Committee; in July 2026 the Board named him to succeed William M. Lambert as Chairman effective at the October 2026 annual meeting.

Shelley Bausch is the recently retired President, Global Industrial Coatings of Axalta Coating Systems, a role she held from 2024 after serving as Senior Vice President, Global Industrial Coatings from 2021. Earlier she led the Asia Pacific region and the Fluid Technologies business unit at Carlisle Companies and the Industrial Coatings business at PPG, and spent 25 years at Dow Corning; she joined Kennametal's Board in 2025 and serves on the Audit Committee.

Sanjay Chowbey is President, Chief Executive Officer and a director of Kennametal, having served in these positions since June 1, 2024; he joined the company in 2021 as Vice President and President of the Metal Cutting segment. Before Kennametal he was President of the $1.2 billion Services & Solutions business at Flowserve and has more than 20 years of experience at industrial companies including Flowserve, Danaher and ArvinMeritor.

Douglas T. Dietrich is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Minerals Technologies Inc. (MTI), serving as CEO since December 2016 and Chairman since March 2021, and has held numerous senior roles there since joining in 2007, including Senior Vice President, Finance and Treasury and Chief Financial Officer. He joined Kennametal's Board in 2025 and serves on the Audit Committee.

William M. Lambert has served as Chairman of Kennametal's Board since November 1, 2023 and as a director since 2016; he is the retired President and CEO of MSA Safety Incorporated, a role he held from 2008 until May 2018, and remains a director of MSA. In July 2026 Mr. Lambert gave notice of his intention to retire from the Board, including the chairmanship, at the conclusion of the October 27, 2026 annual meeting.

Lorraine M. Martin is President and CEO of the National Safety Council, a position she has held since June 2019, and is the retired Executive Vice President and Deputy of Rotary and Mission Systems at Lockheed Martin, where she also served as EVP and General Manager for the F-35 Lightning II program. She has served on Kennametal's Board since 2018 and sits on the Compensation and Human Capital Committee.

Sagar A. Patel has been self-employed since October 2022 consulting on aerospace and defense M&A, and is the retired Group President, Engine Systems of Woodward, Inc., a position he held from 2021 through October 2022; earlier he led several business units at Woodward and served as President, Mechanical Systems at GE Aviation. He has served on Kennametal's Board since 2016 and sits on the Audit and Nominating/Corporate Governance Committees.

Paul Sternlieb is President, CEO and a director of Enerpac Tool Group, effective October 2021; previously he was EVP & President, Protein at JBT Corporation, Group President of Global Cooking Equipment at Illinois Tool Works, and a Vice President & General Manager at Danaher. He joined Kennametal's Board in 2023 and serves on the Audit Committee.

William J. Harvey is the retired President of DuPont Packaging & Industrial Polymers, a multi-billion-dollar global business unit, serving in that role from 2009 through 2015 after a long career at DuPont and as General Manager of FMC Corporation's Peroxygen Chemical Division. He has served on Kennametal's Board since 2011 and sits on the Compensation and Human Capital and Nominating/Corporate Governance Committees.

Steven H. Wunning is the retired Group President and Executive Office member of Caterpillar Inc., serving in those roles from January 2004 to January 2015 with responsibility for the Resource Industries Group. He joined Kennametal's Board in 2005 and chaired the Audit Committee; in July 2025 he gave notice that he would not stand for re-election and he retired from the Board at the October 2025 annual meeting.

Cindy L. Davis is a retired Vice President of Nike, Inc. and retired President of Nike Golf, positions she held from 2008 through January 2015, and currently chairs the board of Deckers Outdoor Corporation. She served on Kennametal's Board from 2012 and chaired the Compensation and Human Capital Committee; she retired from the Board effective September 1, 2025.

Richard J. Harshman is the retired Executive Chairman and former President and Chief Executive Officer of Allegheny Technologies Incorporated (now ATI Inc.), a global manufacturer of technically advanced specialty materials, where he served as Chairman, President and CEO from 2011 through 2018 after roles including President and COO and, earlier, Executive Vice President and CFO from 2000 to 2010. He was appointed to Kennametal's Board effective September 1, 2026.

Dawne Hickton is the Chair, Chief Executive Officer and lead investor of Cumberland Additive, Inc., an additive manufacturing business serving space, aerospace and defense customers, a role she has held since June 2022. Earlier she was Executive Vice President of Jacobs Solutions and President of its Critical Mission Solutions business, and Vice Chair, President and CEO of RTI International Metals from 2007 to 2015; she was appointed to Kennametal's Board effective September 1, 2026.

Patrick Watson is Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Kennametal, a role he has held since June 2022, with responsibility for finance, treasury, accounting, investor relations, information technology and global sourcing. He joined Kennametal in 2004 and previously served as Vice President Finance and Corporate Controller and as finance lead for both business segments and the EMEA region.

Dave Bersaglini is Vice President of Kennametal and President of the Metal Cutting segment, effective August 26, 2024, with accountability for the global segment's strategy, operations, product and growth. He joined from Copeland, an Emerson spin-off, where he was Vice President and General Manager of Global Refrigeration, and has nearly 25 years of industry experience.

Faisal Hamadi is Vice President of Kennametal and President of the Infrastructure segment, effective January 20, 2025, succeeding Franklin Cardenas; he joined Kennametal in July 2024 as Vice President, Value Creation Systems. Before Kennametal he spent 17 years at Eaton Corporation in roles of increasing responsibility, most recently as General Manager of its Hydraulics and Actuation portfolio.

Michelle R. Keating is Vice President, Secretary and General Counsel of Kennametal, with global legal responsibility for the company and its legal department, and serves as secretary to the Board of Directors. She joined Kennametal in 2010 and previously served as assistant general counsel and assistant secretary responsible for SEC and NYSE compliance, corporate governance and global mergers and acquisitions.

Franklin Cardenas served as Vice President of Kennametal and President of the Infrastructure segment from February 2020 until January 20, 2025, when he was succeeded by Faisal Hamadi, and remained employed until his separation on April 1, 2025. The company entered into a separation agreement with Mr. Cardenas in February 2025 providing his contractual benefits, a fiscal 2025 annual incentive payment and continued vesting of certain long-term incentive awards through August 15, 2025.

Amanda Cole was appointed Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer of Kennametal effective July 21, 2026, reporting to President and CEO Sanjay Chowbey and succeeding Judith Bacchus. She joined from Wesco International, where she had worked since 2006, most recently as Vice President of Human Resources for the Electrical & Electronic Solutions business and IT & Digital functions.

Judith Bacchus is Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer of Kennametal, having served in that role and as Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer since June 1, 2011. She relinquished the Chief Human Resources Officer role to Amanda Cole in July 2026 and is scheduled to retire from the company on or about October 1, 2026.
