According to his JPMorgan Chase leadership biography, Daniel Pinto began his career at Manufacturers Hanover in 1983 as a financial analyst and foreign exchange trader in Buenos Aires, spending his entire career at the Firm and its predecessor companies.

He was made sole CEO of the Corporate & Investment Bank in 2014, named Co-President and Chief Operating Officer of JPMorgan Chase in January 2018 and sole President and COO in January 2022. In January 2025 he announced he would retire at the end of 2026, retaining the President role until June 30, 2025 and then serving as Vice Chairman through 2026. He holds a bachelor's degree in Public Accounting and Business Administration from Universidad Nacional de Lomas de Zamora in Buenos Aires.
