Board & leadership
Michael C. Keller has served on the Guidewire Board since September 2019 and has been Chairman since March 2024; he has also served as chairman of the Guidewire Strategic Advisory Council since April 2019 and as Lead Customer Advocate since March 2020. From June 2001 to June 2018 he was Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Nationwide Insurance and Financial Services, and from January 1998 to May 2001 he served as Chief Technology Officer at JPMorgan Chase & Co. (formerly Bank One). He has served as a director of Encova Mutual Insurance Group since August 2020 and holds a B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Michigan.
Mike Rosenbaum is Guidewire's Chief Executive Officer and has served on the Board since he became CEO in August 2019. Prior to joining Guidewire, he was EVP Product at Salesforce from January 2016 to July 2019 and held several leadership positions there after joining in 2005; he previously held technology and marketing roles at Siebel Systems from 2002 to 2005 and served in the U.S. Navy as a submarine officer from 1994 to 1999. He has served on the board of directors of Docusign, Inc. since September 2025 and holds a B.S. in Systems Engineering from the United States Naval Academy and an M.B.A. from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley.
Mark V. Anquillare has served on the Guidewire Board since September 2024 (appointed effective September 23, 2024). He was President and Chief Operating Officer of Verisk Analytics, Inc., an insurance industry data analytics and technology provider, through 2023, and served as Verisk's Chief Financial Officer from 2007 to 2016, leading the company through its 2009 initial public offering. Since 2023 he has been a member of the board of TruBridge, Inc., a healthcare solutions company, where he chairs the audit committee. He holds a B.B.A. from the University of Notre Dame and an M.B.A. from Rutgers Business School.
David S. Bauer has served on the Guidewire Board since October 2022. He currently serves as Managing Partner and Co-Founder at Holding Ground Decision Intelligence LLC since January 2020, and from November 2014 to January 2020 was Managing Partner at Sand Hill East LLP. He previously served as Chief Technology Officer at Asurion and as Chief Information Security Officer at Morgan Stanley and Merrill Lynch, and holds a B.A. and M.S. in Computer Science from Rutgers University.
Margaret Dillon has served on the Guidewire Board since September 2019. From December 1993 to September 2017 she served in various roles at Liberty Mutual Insurance Company, including as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Personal Insurance, and as Executive Vice President and Chief Customer Officer, U.S. Consumer Markets. She also serves on the boards of Hi Marley, a SaaS insurance communication platform, since February 2022, and White Mountains Insurance Group since May 2021, and holds a B.S. in Computer Science and an M.S. in Finance from Boston College.
Catherine P. Lego has served on the Guidewire Board since September 2019. She serves on the board of Cirrus Logic, Inc., where she chairs the nominating and corporate governance committee since 2020, and has previously served on the boards of Lam Research Corporation (2009-2022), IPG Photonics Corporation (2016-2021), Fairchild Semiconductor International (2013-2016), SanDisk Corporation, and Cypress Semiconductor Corporation. From June 1992 to December 2018 she was an angel investor and financial consultant via Lego Ventures, LLC, previously practiced as a certified public accountant with Coopers & Lybrand, and holds a B.A. in Economics and Biology from Williams College and an M.S. in Accounting from the New York University Stern School of Business.
Rajani Ramanathan has served on the Guidewire Board since June 2021 and currently serves as a director or advisor to investors in several public and private companies in the AI, VR, and Blockchain space. She has served on the boards of Hayden AI since October 2021 and Sportradar since May 2023, and previously served on the boards of Faro Technologies (2022-2025) and ESI Group (2014-2024). From June 2000 to March 2014 she held a variety of roles at Salesforce, last serving as Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President, Technology and Products, and holds a B.A. in Psychology from University of Madras and a postgraduate diploma in Marketing and Sales Management from Rajendra Prasad Institute of Communication and Management.
Jeffrey Sloan has served on the Guidewire Board since January 2025 (appointed effective January 21, 2025). He was Chief Executive Officer of Global Payments Inc. from October 2013 to June 2023 and its president from June 2010 to September 2013, and between September 1998 and May 2010 held various executive positions at Goldman Sachs, including worldwide head of the financial technology group and partner. He has served on the boards of Corpay, Inc. since July 2013, NCR Voyix Corporation since March 2025, and Verifone, Inc. since June 2025, and holds a B.S. in Finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a J.D. from New York University School of Law.
John Mullen has served as Guidewire's President since February 2022 and served as Chief Revenue Officer from February 2022 through September 2024, leading Guidewire's Global Sales, Delivery Services, and Customer Success organizations. Prior to joining Guidewire, he held a variety of leadership positions at Capgemini from 2003 to January 2022, including CEO of the North America, America Business Unit and Corporate Vice President in the Financial Services Global Practice. He began his career at Accenture from 1995 to 2003 and holds a B.A. from the University of Dayton and an M.A. from the University of Tulsa.
Jeff Cooper has served as Guidewire's Chief Financial Officer since June 2020, having previously served as interim CFO since March 5, 2020 and as the Company's Vice President of Finance since 2017. Before joining Guidewire he was CFO of GoodData from 2016 to 2017, Vice President, Finance for Rally Software from 2013 to 2016, and a Vice President in the investment banking division of Deutsche Bank Securities. He holds a B.A. in Political Science from Princeton University and an M.B.A. from the London Business School.
Winston King has served as Guidewire's General Counsel and Secretary since January 2013 and as Chief Administrative Officer since June 2018. Before joining Guidewire he worked at Infogroup, Inc., a multinational data, marketing services and research firm, from 2007 to 2012, most recently as EVP, General Counsel and Secretary, and prior to that practiced with the WilmerHale law firm in its Washington, D.C. office. He holds an A.B. in Economics from Duke University and a J.D. from Vanderbilt University School of Law.
David Peterson has served as Guidewire's Chief Accounting Officer since May 2020 and as principal accounting officer since July 2025 (appointed effective July 24, 2025), having previously served as Corporate Controller from July 2018 to May 2020. Before joining Guidewire he was a consulting external CFO from November 2016 to June 2018 and served as CFO of Keynote Systems, Inc. from January 2014 to October 2015 and as its Chief Accounting Officer and Corporate Controller from July 2009 to December 2013. He serves on the board of Jade Global, a privately held IT services company, where he chairs its audit and compensation committees, and holds a B.S. in Accounting from Oklahoma State University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
