Mark E. Jones co-founded Goosehead in 2003 and has served as Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors since July 1, 2024, having previously served as the Company's Chief Executive Officer from co-founding it in 2003 through July 1, 2024, and as Chairman since the Board of Directors was established. He led the strategic development and execution of all aspects of the business from inception until July 2024, and the Jones family is the Company's largest shareholder.
Before Goosehead, he worked at the global management consulting firm Bain & Company from 1991 to 2004, most recently as a senior partner and director, where he also served for many years as Global Head of Recruiting. He began his professional career at Ernst & Young in Calgary, Canada, from 1985 to 1989. He earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
