Jeffrey A. Bluestone is the former President and Chief Executive Officer of Sonoma Biotherapeutics and has served as an independent director of Gilead since 2020. He is an internationally recognized leader in immunotherapy and related fields with a scientific and academic career spanning four decades and strong leadership experience in the healthcare industry.

Sandra J. Horning is the retired Chief Medical Officer of Roche and has served as an independent director of Gilead since 2020. She brings significant leadership experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry, including expertise in drug development across multiple therapeutic areas, and is a physician with experience treating patients as a practicing oncologist.

Kelly A. Kramer is the retired Chief Financial Officer of Cisco Systems and has served as an independent director of Gilead since 2016. She brings significant financial expertise from serving as chief financial officer of major companies and divisions in the technology and healthcare industries, along with experience in strategic and financial planning and corporate development.

Javier J. Rodriguez is the Chief Executive Officer of DaVita and has served as an independent director of Gilead since 2020. He brings significant leadership experience in the healthcare industry as chief executive officer and in various other executive roles of a Fortune 500 public healthcare company, and is recognized for transforming how kidney care is delivered.

Anthony Welters is Gilead's Lead Independent Director, serving on the board since 2020. He is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of CINQ Care and the retired Senior Adviser to the Office of the CEO of UnitedHealth Group, bringing extensive leadership experience in the healthcare industry.

Daniel P. O'Day has served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Gilead Sciences since 2019. Before joining Gilead he spent a more than 30-year career at Roche, most recently as Chief Executive Officer of Roche Pharmaceuticals and a member of Roche's Corporate Executive Committee, holding executive positions across the pharmaceutical and diagnostics divisions in North America, Europe and Asia.

Andrew D. Dickinson is Gilead's Chief Financial Officer, responsible for the company's global finance, corporate development, information technology, operations and strategy organizations. He joined Gilead in 2016 to lead its corporate development and strategy group, driving the company's licensing, partnership and acquisition transactions, and previously served as global Co-Head of Healthcare Investment Banking at Lazard.

Johanna Mercier is Gilead's Chief Commercial and Corporate Affairs Officer, responsible for driving top-line revenue growth and expanding patient access across virology, oncology and inflammation, and in late 2025 she took on additional responsibility for the company's public affairs and government affairs functions worldwide. Before joining Gilead in 2019 she spent 25 years at Bristol Myers Squibb in senior leadership roles across the U.S. and international markets.

Dietmar Berger is Gilead's Chief Medical Officer, responsible for the company's virology, oncology and inflammation pipeline and its global development and medical affairs organizations. A board-certified internist, hematologist and oncologist with more than 25 years of experience, he previously served as Senior Vice President and Global Head of Development at Sanofi from 2019 to 2024 and, before that, as EVP and Global Head of R&D at Atara Biotherapeutics.

Deborah H. Telman served as Gilead's Executive Vice President, Corporate Affairs and General Counsel until December 5, 2025, when she ceased to serve in that role, with her employment terminating later that month under a severance agreement. She was a named executive officer for fiscal 2025 and received a pro-rated target annual bonus pursuant to the Gilead Sciences, Inc. Severance Plan.
