Daniel C. Murdock is Executive Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer and Controller of Comcast Corporation, serving as the company's Principal Accounting Officer. He has served as Controller since 2015, as Chief Accounting Officer since March 2017 and as an Executive Vice President since March 2020.
He joined Comcast in 2015 as Vice President and Corporate Controller and was promoted to Senior Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer and Controller effective March 1, 2017, succeeding Lawrence J. Salva.
Before joining Comcast, he served as Deputy Chief Accountant in the Office of the Chief Accountant at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and earlier was an Audit/Industry Professional Practice Director for media and entertainment at Deloitte & Touche. He holds a B.S. in accounting from the University of South Florida and is a certified public accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
