A. D. David Mackay is an independent director of The Clorox Company, a role he has held since 2016. He serves on the Audit Committee, where he has been determined by the Board to be an audit committee financial expert, and on the Management Development and Compensation Committee.
Mackay served as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Kellogg Company from December 2006 until his retirement in January 2011. He joined Kellogg in 2000 and held roles of increasing responsibility, including President and Chief Operating Officer (September 2003 – December 2006), Executive Vice President (November 2000 – September 2003) and Senior Vice President and President of Kellogg USA (July 2000 – November 2000). Earlier in his career he was Managing Director, Australia at Sara Lee Corporation and held various positions at Mars Incorporated.
