Hock E. Tan has served as Broadcom's President and Chief Executive Officer since March 2006 and has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2006.
Before Broadcom, he was President and CEO of Integrated Circuit Systems, Inc. from 1999 until its 2005 acquisition by Integrated Device Technology, where he had also served as COO and Senior Vice President and CFO. Earlier he was Vice President of Finance at Commodore International and held senior management positions at PepsiCo and General Motors, and was a managing director at Pacven Investment and Hume Industries.
