Marc D. Hamburg is Berkshire Hathaway's Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer and its Secretary, having served as an executive officer since 1992. Berkshire announced that Hamburg will resign as Chief Financial Officer on June 1, 2026 and retire from the company on June 1, 2027, working with his successor during the transition. In recognition of his many decades of service, Berkshire will provide him (or his spouse) up to 30 flight hours per year on a mid-sized NetJets aircraft, with tax gross-up, for a term ending no later than May 31, 2037.
