Arista Networks, Inc. Leadership

Kelly Battles has served on Arista's board since July 2020 and sits on the Audit Committee, bringing more than 30 years of finance, strategy and operational leadership experience. She has been chief financial officer of Alpha Medical Group and Quora, and earlier held finance leadership roles at Bracket Computing, Host Analytics, IronPort Systems and Hewlett-Packard. She holds a B.S.E. from Princeton University and an M.B.A. from Harvard University and also serves on the boards of ThredUp, Genesys Cloud Services and Qumulo.

Lewis Chew joined Arista's board in July 2021 and chairs its Audit Committee. He was executive vice president and chief financial officer of Dolby Laboratories from 2012 to 2021 and previously CFO of National Semiconductor, after a career as a partner at KPMG. He holds a B.S. in accounting from Santa Clara University and also serves on the boards of Cadence Design Systems and Intuitive Surgical.

Charles Giancarlo has served on Arista's board since April 2013 and chairs its Compensation Committee. He is chairman and chief executive officer of Pure Storage, was a managing director at Silver Lake Partners, and earlier held various senior roles at Cisco Systems, including executive vice president and chief development officer. He holds a B.S. from Brown University, an M.S. from UC Berkeley and an M.B.A. from Harvard University and also serves on the board of Zscaler.

Dr. Greg Lavender joined Arista's board in March 2025 and serves on the Audit Committee. He was chief technology officer of Intel Corporation from November 2023 to June 2025, having previously served as Intel's corporate CTO and head of its Software and Advanced Technology Group, and before that held senior technology roles at VMware, Citigroup, Cisco Systems and Sun Microsystems. He holds a B.S. from the University of Georgia and an M.S. and Ph.D. in computer science from Virginia Tech and also serves on the board of Nutanix.

Daniel Scheinman has served on Arista's board since October 2011 and is the company's Lead Independent Director and chair of the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee. He has been an angel investor since 2011 and previously spent 1997 to 2011 at Cisco Systems in various capacities, most recently as senior vice president of the Cisco Media Solutions Group. He holds a B.A. from Brandeis University and a J.D. from Duke University School of Law and also serves on the boards of Zoom Video Communications and SentinelOne.

Mark B. Templeton joined Arista's board in June 2017 and serves on the Compensation Committee. He was chief executive officer of DigitalOcean and, for many years, president and chief executive officer of Citrix Systems until his retirement in October 2015. He holds a B.A. in product design from North Carolina State University and an M.B.A. from the University of Virginia's Darden School and also serves on the board of Nutanix.

Yvonne Wassenaar has served on Arista's board since July 2022 and sits on the Audit and Nominating and Corporate Governance committees. She was chief executive officer of Puppet, Inc. from 2019 to 2022 and previously CEO of Airware and chief information officer of New Relic, and has served on the boards of Forrester Research and Anaplan. She also serves on the boards of JFrog, Rubrik and Braze.

Jayshree Ullal has served as Arista Networks' Chief Executive Officer and a member of the board since October 2008, and as Chairperson of the Board since December 2023; she was also President from October 2008 to September 2025. Before Arista she spent 1993 to 2008 at Cisco Systems, most recently as senior vice president of its data center, switching and services group, and she also serves on the board of Snowflake Inc. She holds a B.S. in electrical engineering from San Francisco State University and an M.S. in engineering management from Santa Clara University.

Andy (Andreas) Bechtolsheim is a co-founder of Arista Networks and serves as its Chief Architect, leading the company's advanced AI, silicon and optics initiatives. Earlier in his career he co-founded Sun Microsystems, where he was chief system architect, and he has been a member of the Open Compute Project board since 2011. Through the Bechtolsheim Family Trust he is Arista's largest stockholder, beneficially owning roughly 14.6% of the company's common stock.

Kenneth Duda is one of Arista's founders and has served the company in various roles since 2004, becoming Chief Technology Officer and Senior Vice President of Software Engineering in September 2011 and President in September 2025. He joined the board of directors in December 2023, and his expanded role oversees cloud and AI systems engineering and business development. He holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in computer science and electrical engineering from MIT and a Ph.D. in computer science from Stanford University.

Chantelle Breithaupt serves as Arista's Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, having joined the company in 2024, and her responsibilities span finance, IT, information security and legal operations. She previously served as chief financial officer of Aspen Technology and held executive finance positions at Cisco Systems and General Electric over a career of more than 25 years. She holds an Honours degree in business administration from Wilfrid Laurier University.

Todd Nightingale joined Arista on July 1, 2025 as President and Chief Operating Officer, overseeing enterprise data center, campus networking and manufacturing operations. He was previously chief executive officer and a board member of Fastly, Inc. from September 2022 to June 2025, and before that executive vice president and general manager of Enterprise Networking and Cloud at Cisco Systems, where he also led Cisco Meraki. He holds a B.S. in electrical engineering and computer science and a master's in engineering from MIT.

Marc Taxay served as Arista Networks' Senior Vice President and General Counsel, leading the company's legal function. He resigned from that position effective May 7, 2025 and was a named executive officer in the fiscal 2025 proxy statement covering his final partial year of service.
