Jeffrey P. Bezos founded Amazon.com in 1994 and has served as Executive Chair since July 2021. He has been Chair of the Board since the Company's founding.
He previously served as Chief Executive Officer from May 1996 until July 2021, and as President from the founding until June 1999 and again from October 2000 to July 2021.
