Sundar Pichai joined Google in 2004 and has served as a director of Alphabet since 2017. He was named Chief Executive Officer of Google in October 2015 and of Alphabet in December 2019, and sits on the Executive Committee.
As CEO he has led product and engineering across Search, Chrome, Maps, Android, Gmail, and Google Workspace, and has refocused the company's strategy on AI.
