K. Ram Shriram has served on Alphabet's Board since 1998 and is a member of the Leadership Development, Inclusion and Compensation Committee. He has been a managing partner of the angel venture investment company Sherpalo Ventures, LLC since January 2000.
He was an early member of the executive team at Netscape and served as Vice President of Business Development at Amazon.com after its 1998 acquisition of Junglee Corporation, where he was President.
