Akos Czibere, MD, PhD

Akos Czibere has served as Aktis Oncology's Chief Medical Officer since July 2024. From 2017 to 2024 he held roles of increasing responsibility at Pfizer, most recently as Vice President and Therapeutic Area Head of Hematology-Oncology, and earlier held senior positions at Merrimack Pharmaceuticals. He holds an MD and PhD from the University of Duesseldorf, Germany, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Harvard Medical School.
