About

Richard Agree founded Agree Realty and served as its Chairman and Chief Executive Officer from December 1993 until January 2013, when he became Executive Chairman of the Board.

Prior to the Company's formation and initial public offering, he was managing partner of the general partnerships that held the Company's properties and served as President of the predecessor company beginning in 1971. He has managed and overseen the development of over eight million square feet of retail real estate over the past 50 years.

He is a graduate of the Detroit College of Law and a member of the State Bar of Michigan and the International Council of Shopping Centers. He is the father of Joel Agree, the Company's Chief Executive Officer.
