Leona Aglukkaq Director; Chair of the Compensation Committee

Leona Aglukkaq has served on the Agnico Eagle board since 2021 and chairs the Compensation Committee, also sitting on the Health, Safety, Environment and Sustainable Development Committee. She is an experienced politician and government administrator originally from the Kitikmeot Region of Nunavut. First elected as a Member of Parliament in 2008, in 2009 she became the first Inuk in Canadian history to be appointed to Cabinet, as Minister of Health, and she chaired the Arctic Council from 2012 to 2015. She has held elected and public-official roles in the governments of Nunavut and the Northwest Territories and was a founding member of the Nunavut Impact Review Board.

Ammar Al-Joundi President & Chief Executive Officer; Director

Ammar Al-Joundi is President & Chief Executive Officer of Agnico Eagle, a position he has held since February 23, 2022, and has served as a director since 2022. He was previously President from April 6, 2015 and Senior Vice-President & Chief Financial Officer of Agnico Eagle from September 2010 to June 2012. Before returning to Agnico Eagle in 2015 he held senior roles at Barrick, including Chief Financial Officer from July 2012 to February 2015 and Senior Executive Vice-President, and spent 11 years at Barrick in various senior financial roles prior to 2010. Earlier he was Vice-President, Structured Finance at Citibank Canada. He is a graduate of Western University (MBA, Honours) and the University of Toronto (BASc, Mechanical Engineering).

Sean Boyd Chair of the Board

Sean Boyd, FCPA, FCA, is Chair of the Board of Agnico Eagle and has been a director since 1998, having been with the company since 1985. He was appointed Chair on December 31, 2023 after serving as Executive Chair from February 2022. Over nearly four decades he held roles including Vice-Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (2015-2022), President and Chief Executive Officer (1998-2005), and Chief Financial Officer, having joined from staff accountant work at Clarkson Gordon (Ernst & Young). He is a Chartered Professional Accountant and a University of Toronto B.Comm. graduate, and was inducted into the Canadian Mining Hall of Fame in 2025.

Jonathan Gill Director; Chair of the Technical Committee

Jonathan Gill, P.Eng, ICD.D, has served as a director since 2022 and chairs the Technical Committee, also sitting on the Health, Safety, Environment and Sustainable Development Committee. A Professional Engineer with more than 60 years of mining experience, he held senior mine management roles for Inco Limited in Ontario and Manitoba and for PT Inco in Indonesia. He is a former Employer Chair of Ontario's Mining Legislative Review Committee and served on the board of Kirkland Lake Gold prior to its February 2022 merger with Agnico Eagle. He is a graduate of Sunderland Technical College and a certified director of the Institute of Corporate Directors.

Peter Grosskopf, CFA, has served as a director since 2022, chairs the Corporate Governance Committee and sits on the Compensation Committee. He has more than 35 years of experience in financial services and is currently Chairman of SCP Resource Finance LP. He was previously Chief Executive Officer of Sprott Capital Partners and of Sprott Inc., President of Cormark Securities Inc., and a co-founder of Newcrest Capital Inc. (acquired by TD Bank Financial Group in 2000). He served on the Kirkland Lake Gold board prior to the February 2022 merger and is a graduate of Western University (HBA and MBA).

She is co-founder and Chair of technology company Gekko Systems, following 25 years as its Managing Director/CEO, and is founder and Patron of the Coalition for Eco-Efficient Comminution (CEEC). She has served on numerous Australian government advisory bodies, including the Australian Gold Council and the METS Ignited industry growth centre, and was on the Kirkland Lake Gold board prior to the February 2022 merger. She holds degrees from the University of Adelaide (B.Econ.) and Federation University (MBA).

She was President and CEO of Roscoe Postle Associates Inc. when it was acquired by SLR in 2019, and earlier was Chief Mining Consultant for the Ontario Securities Commission, involved in the development and implementation of NI 43-101. She is a graduate of Western University (BSc, Geology).
