Brian Corvese has served on the Agenus board since 2007 and chairs both its Compensation Committee and its Executive Committee. Since 1999 he has been President and Founder of Vencor Capital, a private equity firm.

He previously served as a Managing Director and partner at Soros Fund Management and as a partner at Chancellor Capital Management, where he managed portfolios focused on basic industries, restructurings and special situations, and earlier was an equity analyst at Drexel Burnham Lambert covering the chemical and specialty chemical industries. He holds degrees in finance and political science from the University of Rhode Island and attended New York University Graduate School.
