Aeva Technologies, Inc. Leadership

Soroush Salehian (Salehian Dardashti) co-founded Aeva with Mina Rezk in December 2016 and has served as its Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors since that time. Before founding Aeva he worked at Apple from February 2012 to November 2016 as a Manager, Product Development, leading teams developing consumer products and sensing systems, and he holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University.

Mina Rezk co-founded Aeva with Soroush Salehian in December 2016 and serves as President, Chief Technology Officer and Chairman of the Board, having become Chair in 2021. He previously served as Sensing Engineering Manager in Apple's Special Projects Group from 2015 to 2016 and in various roles including Hardware Development Manager at Nikon Metrology from 2004 to 2015, and holds Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Electrical Engineering from George Mason University.

Hrach Simonian has served on Aeva's Board of Directors since March 2021, having also served on the board of the pre-merger Aeva, Inc. from November 2017. He is a General Partner at early-stage venture capital firm Canaan Partners, which he joined in 2007, and holds electrical engineering degrees from UCLA and the University of Michigan and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Stephen Zadesky has served as a Director of Aeva since November 2022 and currently advises companies in the transportation, robotics and clean-technology sectors. He spent two decades at Apple from March 1999 to April 2019 in various management roles, including Vice President of Product Design for iPhone and iPod engineering, and earlier worked at Ford Motor Company.

Daniel Gibson has served as a Director of Aeva since May 2025. He is the Founder, Chief Investment Officer and Managing Partner of Sylebra Capital Management, a global technology-media-telecom investment manager he founded in 2011, was previously a Partner at Coatue Management, and also serves on the boards of Impinj, Inc. and PureCycle Technologies, Inc.

Dr. Stefan Sommer has served as a Director of Aeva since November 2023 and brings extensive automotive-industry leadership experience. He was Chief Executive Officer of ZF AG from 2012 to 2017 and a member of Volkswagen AG's Board of Management responsible for Components and Procurement from 2018 to 2020, and currently sits on the supervisory board of Knorr-Bremse AG and chairs the board of JOST Werke SE.

Katherine Motlagh has served on Aeva's Board since March 2025. She was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of CyrusOne from 2020 to 2023 and CFO for the European, African and Latin American regions at American Tower from 2015 to 2020, and currently serves on the boards of Crown Castle Inc. and EVgo Inc. She is a licensed Certified Public Accountant and Certified Management Accountant.

Saurabh Sinha has served as Aeva's Chief Financial Officer since September 2020; in July 2026 he informed the company he would resign effective September 5, 2026 to pursue an opportunity outside the sensing industry. He was previously Chief Accounting Officer of JUUL Labs (2018-2020), where he also served as interim CFO in 2020, held finance leadership roles at InvenSense Inc. (2014-2018), and holds an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Rupesh Maheshwari joined Aeva as Vice President, Corporate Controller in December 2025 and was appointed interim Chief Financial Officer effective September 5, 2026, stepping in upon Saurabh Sinha's departure. He was previously Global Corporate Controller at autonomous-trucking and robotaxi company Waabi (2024-2025) and at AI-and-robotics company Covariant (2022-2024), and is a Chartered Accountant in India and a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) in California.
