Michael B. Coleman has served as an independent director since 2018 and chairs the Sustainability Committee.

He was formerly a Partner at the law firm Ice Miller, specializing in government regulatory law and economic real estate development, from 2016 until his retirement in March 2026. From 2000 to 2015 he served as Mayor of Columbus, Ohio, the first African-American mayor and the longest-serving mayor in the city's history, and earlier served as Columbus City Council President (1997-1999), a City Council member (1992-1999), and a partner at the law firm Schottenstein Zox & Dunn LLP (1990-1998).

Mr. Coleman holds a B.S. in Political Science from the University of Cincinnati and a J.D. from the University of Dayton School of Law.
