Paul J. Smith serves on ADT's board as a designee of State Farm pursuant to the State Farm Investor Rights Agreement, and sits on the Compensation Committee. In April 2025 he retired as an Executive Vice President of State Farm Fire & Casualty Company, and he previously served as Chief Operating Officer of State Farm until January 2025.
He joined State Farm in 1988 and worked in a variety of finance and operational positions, including senior management roles such as Chief Financial Officer, EVP Property and Casualty, and EVP Technology and Innovation.
