Paul E. Davis is Adeia's Chief Executive Officer and has served as a member of the Board since October 2022. He previously served as the company's Chief Legal Officer and President of its IP Licensing business.
Mr. Davis also served as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Xperi Corporation, the predecessor to Xperi Holding Corporation, prior to its 2020 merger with TiVo Corporation. He joined the company in 2011 and in 2013 was promoted to Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Tessera Technologies, the predecessor to Xperi Corporation before the 2016 acquisition of DTS, Inc.
Before joining the company, Mr. Davis was an attorney at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, where his practice focused on mergers and acquisitions, corporate securities matters and corporate governance. He holds a B.A. in history and political science from the University of California, San Diego and a J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of Law.
