Dr. Mikhail Kalinichev is Addex's Head of Translational Science and serves in the equivalent role for the Neurosterix Group under the service agreement between Addex and Neurosterix. He rejoined Addex in August 2021, having previously spent four years at the company in roles including Associate Director and Group Leader, Behavioral Neuroscience. Immediately before rejoining he spent six years as Director of in vivo neurology at Ipsen (France), and earlier was a section head at Lundbeck (Denmark) and a principal scientist at GlaxoSmithKline's Psychiatry Center of Excellence (UK). He has received the Vernalis Prize of the British Association for Psychopharmacology and the GlaxoSmithKline Exceptional Science Award, is an inventor on several patents and has co-authored more than 50 papers. He earned his PhD in behavioural neuroscience at Rutgers University and completed post-doctoral training at Emory University School of Medicine.
