Carl V. Sailer Director

Mr. Sailer has served as a director of Acurx since October 2018. He is a commercial leader with nearly 30 years of biopharmaceutical experience and currently serves as Senior Vice President, Global Client Solutions at Syneos Health (Nasdaq: SYNH). Previously he was Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Emisphere Technologies (acquired by Novo Nordisk), Vice President of Commercial Operations at New American Therapeutics and at Akrimax Pharmaceuticals, and a member of the executive committee at PDI, a contract commercial organization. He began his career in sales, marketing and sales-management roles in the pharmaceutical and consumer-products divisions of Bristol-Myers Squibb and Bayer Healthcare. Mr. Sailer earned an M.B.A. from Hofstra University and a B.S. in Marketing from Seton Hall University, where he serves as an adjunct graduate professor.

Thomas Harrison Director

Mr. Harrison has served as a director of Acurx since July 2021. Since June 2016 he has been Chairman Emeritus of the Diversified Agency Services (DAS) division of Omnicom Group Inc. (NYSE: OMC), having previously served as its President and then Chairman and Chief Executive Officer; under his leadership DAS grew into Omnicom's largest division with annual revenues over $6.0 billion. He joined Omnicom in 1992 when it acquired Harrison & Star Business Group, the healthcare agency he co-founded, and in 2019 became a Senior Operating Partner at Merida Capital Partners. Mr. Harrison began his career at Pfizer Laboratories as a pharmaceutical sales representative. He earned an L.H.D. and M.S. in cell biology from West Virginia University and a B.S. in cell biology and physiology from Shepherdstown University.

Mr. Scodari has served as a director of Acurx since July 2021. Since October 2017 he has been Chairman of the Board of Optinose (Nasdaq: OPTN). He previously served as Worldwide Chairman of Johnson & Johnson's Pharmaceuticals Group and a member of its Executive Committee from March 2005 until his retirement in March 2008, and from 2003 to 2005 as Company Group Chairman of J&J's Biopharmaceutical Business. He joined Centocor Inc. in 1996 as President of its Pharmaceutical Division and was named President and Chief Operating Officer in 1998, serving until Centocor's 1999 acquisition by Johnson & Johnson. He previously served as a director of Actelion Pharmaceuticals, Endo Health Solutions and Covance. Mr. Scodari received a B.A. from Youngstown State University.

Jack H. Dean Director

Dr. Dean has served as a director of Acurx since July 2021 and previously served as a director of the company's predecessor, Dipexium Pharmaceuticals, from 2010 until its 2017 sale. Since 2006 he has advised the Executive Vice President of Drug Development at Sanofi through his firm Drug Development Advisors, LLC, and he is a research professor of Medical Pharmacology and Pharmacology/Toxicology at the University of Arizona. He previously served as President, U.S. Science and Medical Affairs (R&D) and Global Director of Preclinical Development at Sanofi, and held senior drug-safety and toxicology leadership roles at Sterling Winthrop and the Chemical Industry Institute of Toxicology. Dr. Dean holds a B.S. in microbiology and an M.S. in medical microbiology from California State University, Long Beach, and a Ph.D. in molecular biology from the University of Arizona College of Medicine.

James Donohue Director

Mr. Donohue has served as a director of Acurx since July 2021. Since April 2004 he has been a Vice President with Charles River Associates (Nasdaq: CRAI), a global economic, financial and management consulting firm, and he has more than 30 years of experience in valuation, damages and forensic accounting. He is a Certified Public Accountant in Maryland, a Certified Valuation Analyst and Accredited in Business Valuation, and holds a B.S. in Accountancy from Villanova University.

David P. Luci Co-Founder, President & Chief Executive Officer, Director

Mr. Luci is a co-founder of Acurx Pharmaceuticals and has served as its President and Chief Executive Officer and as a director since February 2018. Previously he was President and Chief Executive Officer of Dipexium Pharmaceuticals (Nasdaq: DPRX), an antibiotic-focused pharmaceutical company, from February 2010 until its April 2017 sale to PLx Pharma Inc. (Nasdaq: PLXP) in a merger valued at $69.0 million. From 2009 to 2010 he served on the board of Abeona Therapeutics, where he chaired the Audit and Compensation Committees, and from 2007 to 2009 he was a director and President of MacroChem. Earlier he was Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Bioenvision, Inc. He began his career as a certified public accountant with Ernst & Whinney (now Ernst & Young) and later practiced corporate law at Paul Hastings LLP. Mr. Luci holds a B.S. in Business Administration (Accounting) from Bucknell University and a J.D. from Albany Law School of Union University, and is a member of the New York State Bar Association.

Robert J. DeLuccia Co-Founder & Executive Chairman, Director

Mr. DeLuccia is a co-founder of Acurx Pharmaceuticals and has served as its Executive Chairman and as a director since February 2018. Previously he was Executive Chairman of Dipexium Pharmaceuticals (Nasdaq: DPRX) from February 2010 until its April 2017 sale to PLx Pharma Inc. From 2004 to 2009 he held several roles at MacroChem, including Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer, and earlier served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Immunomedics, Inc. and as President of Sterling Winthrop, Inc. (later the U.S. subsidiary of Sanofi-Aventis). He served on the board of IBEX Technologies Inc. until its 2024 sale to BBI Solutions. Mr. DeLuccia began his career as a pharmaceutical sales representative at Pfizer, rising to Vice President of Marketing and Sales Operations for Pfizer's Roerig Division. He holds a B.B.A. in Marketing and an M.B.A. from Iona College.

Mr. Shawah is a co-founder of Acurx Pharmaceuticals and has served as its Chief Financial Officer since June 2021, having previously served as the company's Chief Accounting Officer and Vice President of Finance from February 2018 to June 2021. Earlier he was Chief Accounting Officer of Dipexium Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq: DPRX) from 2014 until its April 2017 sale to PLx Pharma. He has also served as Vice President of Baldwin Pearson & Co., Inc., a commercial real estate firm, and as a director of Ameri100, a software integration company. Mr. Shawah, a certified public accountant, graduated from Bucknell University with a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting.
