She is founder and CEO of Avedon Advisory LLC (since 2022) and previously served as Executive Vice President, Chief Human Resources, Marketing and Communications Officer of Trane Technologies plc (2020-2022) and of Ingersoll Rand, plc (2007-2020). She was also Chief HR Officer of Merck & Company (2002-2006) and currently serves on the board of Generac Holdings Inc.

He has been an operating executive of The Carlyle Group Inc. since 2005 and previously served as Vice Chairman (1993-2005) and Chief Financial Officer (1988-2004) of Bank of America Corporation. A Certified Public Accountant, he has served on numerous public company boards, including Cousins Properties, Duke Energy, Ford Motor Company, Sprint-Nextel, Rayonier, EnPro Industries and Morgan Stanley, and currently serves on the board of The Carlyle Group Inc.

Neil M. Ashe has served as Acuity's President and Chief Executive Officer since January 2020 and as Chairman of the Board since January 2021. Before joining Acuity he was founder and CEO of Faster Horses LLC (2017-2019), which invested in and advised companies embracing digital transformation, and previously served as President and CEO of Global eCommerce & Technology at Walmart, Inc. from 2012 to 2017. Earlier in his career he was President of CBS Interactive (2008-2011) and Chief Executive Officer of CNET Networks, Inc. (2006-2008), and he has served on the boards of companies including CNET Networks and AMC Networks, Inc.

Karen J. Holcom Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Karen J. Holcom has served as Acuity's Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since September 2019, leading the company's global financial organization, including accounting, audit, financial planning and analysis, investor relations, tax and treasury. She has more than 30 years of financial experience, all with Acuity, having previously served as Senior Vice President, Finance and Associate Engagement (January-September 2019), Senior Vice President, Finance (2006-2018), Vice President and Controller (2004-2006) and Vice President, Financial Services (2001-2004). A Certified Public Accountant, she serves on the board of the Atlanta Police Foundation and is a member of the Georgia Chamber of Commerce.

Barry R. Goldman Senior Vice President and General Counsel

Barry R. Goldman has served as Acuity's Senior Vice President and General Counsel since January 2015, leading the company's Law and Business Environment team across corporate governance, compliance, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property, privacy, government relations, litigation and risk management. He has over 30 years of legal experience in the real estate, lighting and building management industries and previously served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Acuity Brands Lighting, Inc. (2007-2015) and in earlier legal roles with the company beginning in 2001. He serves on the boards of the McClung Lighting Research Foundation and the National Association of Manufacturers.
