Joseph E. Whitters has served on Accuray's Board since July 2018 and is the independent Chairperson of the Board. He has been an advisor/consultant to Frazier Healthcare, a private equity firm, since 2005, and from 1986 to 2005 served in various capacities with First Health Group Corp., a publicly traded managed care company, most recently as its Chief Financial Officer. He has served on the boards and audit committees of numerous public companies, including Cutera, InfuSystem Holdings, PRGX Global and Spark Networks. He holds a B.A. in Accounting from Luther College.
James M. Hindman has served on Accuray's Board since September 2019 and chairs the Audit Committee. He held various positions at Allergan from 1984 to 2015, most recently as Executive Vice President, Finance and Business Development, and Chief Financial Officer, and earlier as Senior Vice President of Treasury, Risk and Investor Relations. He currently serves on the board of Aatru Medical and has served on the boards of Millendo Therapeutics, Sienna Biopharmaceuticals, Urovant Sciences and Amolyt Pharma. He holds a B.S. in Accounting from Loyola Marymount University and an MBA from Pepperdine University, and is a California CPA (inactive).
Mika Nishimura has served on Accuray's Board since August 2021 and chairs the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee. Since 2011 she has been an Operational Partner with Gilde Healthcare Partners, and she previously served as Vice President of Commercialization at nVision Medical (acquired by Boston Scientific) and Vice President, Commercial Development at Auxogyn. She serves on the boards of SI-BONE, HOYA Corp and NEC Corporation and advises Tristel plc. She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a B.A. in Economics from Yale University.
Steven F. Mayer has served on Accuray's Board since June 2025, appointed in connection with the company's June 2025 debt refinancing under a Governance Agreement with TCW Asset Management Company, and serves as the Board's Transformation Board Sponsor. He is Chairman of the Operations Advisory Council and Senior Advisor to the private credit group of TCW, CEO of Dedication Capital, LLC, and was previously Executive Chairman of Grifols and Senior Managing Director and Co-Head of Global Private Equity at Cerberus Capital Management. He holds a J.D. from Harvard Law School and a B.A. from Princeton University.
Chan W. Galbato was elected to Accuray's Board as a Class I director at the November 2025 annual meeting and is a TCW-designated Preferred Director. He is a Senior Advisor to Barington Capital Group and Alvarez & Marsal Holdings, and was previously Chief Executive Officer of Cerberus Operations and Advisory Company (2012-2024) and President and CEO of the Controls Group of Invensys plc. He has served on numerous public-company boards, including The Eastern Company, Albertsons Companies, Blue Bird Corporation and Avon Products. He holds a B.A. in Economics from the State University of New York and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
Steve La Neve was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of Accuray and a member of the Board of Directors effective October 20, 2025, succeeding Suzanne Winter. He brings more than 40 years of global medical technology and biotechnology leadership spanning capital equipment and implantable devices. He most recently served as President of the Trauma and Joint Reconstruction business and of Globus Medical Japan K.K. at Globus Medical (2019-2024), and previously as CEO of Bone Biologics Corporation, CEO of ETEX Corporation, Global President of Becton Dickinson Pre-Analytical Systems, and Global President of Medtronic Spine and Biologics. He holds a B.S. in Health Planning and Administration from Pennsylvania State University and an MBA from West Chester University.
Ali Pervaiz was appointed Chief Financial Officer of Accuray in May 2022 and directs the company's global finance organization. He joined Accuray in August 2020 as Vice President, Global Commercial Operations. Before Accuray he spent over 15 years at GE Healthcare in senior financial and operating leadership roles, including CFO of GE Healthcare's US Imaging Equipment and US Life Support Solutions business units, beginning his career in GE's Corporate Audit Staff program. He holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, an M.S. in healthcare technologies management from the Medical College of Wisconsin, and a B.S. in electrical engineering from Marquette University.
Paul Miele leads Accuray's global commercial organization, with responsibility for driving revenue growth, strengthening execution, and expanding the company's market presence worldwide. He previously served as Business Unit Leader for the MONARCH robotic bronchoscopy platform at Johnson & Johnson MedTech and as Vice President of Sales at Globus Medical, overseeing the Americas, EMEA and Asia-Pacific regions for its robotic spine platform. He began his career at Intuitive Surgical, contributing to the early commercialization of robotic-assisted surgery. He holds a BA in Finance and Marketing from Northeastern University.
Dr. Seth Blacksburg is Accuray's Senior Vice President, Chief Medical & Marketing Officer, leading the company's global clinical strategy, customer education, patient access and reimbursement, clinical research, and global marketing and health economics. He previously served as Accuray's Vice President, Chief Medical Officer for the Americas, and before joining the company was Chairman of Radiation Medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital (Northwell Health). A board-certified radiation oncologist, he is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at the NYU Grossman Long Island School of Medicine and earned an MBA with a concentration in health sector management alongside his medical degree.
David Shin leads Accuray's global legal function as Senior Vice President, Chief Legal Officer & Corporate Secretary, with more than 20 years of experience across Fortune 100 corporations, private companies and global law firms in corporate governance, compliance, enterprise risk management, M&A and emerging technologies. He previously served as Vice President of Legal - Technology, Transformation & Innovation at HCA Healthcare, as Chief Legal Officer at private-equity- and venture-backed software companies, and as Chief Counsel, Chief Privacy Officer and Corporate Secretary to the Ethics & Compliance Committee at Varian, a Siemens Healthineers company. He holds a J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School and a B.A. in politics from Occidental College.
Jim Dennison is Accuray's Senior Vice President, Chief Quality & Regulatory Affairs Officer, leading global quality and regulatory/government affairs and product compliance, and managing the CNNC Accuray China joint-venture partnership. He brings more than 20 years of quality assurance and regulatory affairs experience, most recently as Senior Executive Vice President, Quality and Regulatory Affairs at GE Healthcare over a nearly 15-year tenure, with earlier leadership roles at Medtronic, Mallinckrodt Pharmaceutical and Baxter Healthcare. He holds an MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management and a B.S. in chemistry/biology from the University of Wisconsin.
Todd Brown is a Senior Vice President focused on global services and enterprise performance optimization, leading the development and execution of Accuray's global strategy for delivering an exceptional customer experience across the customer lifecycle. He brings more than 25 years of business and finance experience, most recently over a 10+ year tenure at GE HealthCare where he served as Vice President & General Manager, Healthcare Service, US & Canada. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting and management from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
John Dunn is Accuray's Senior Vice President, Chief Information Officer, overseeing the alignment of data strategy, cybersecurity and enterprise-wide portfolio execution. He brings more than 20 years of business intelligence, enterprise technology and cybersecurity experience and joined Accuray in October 2023, having previously served as Enterprise CISO and North America CIO of GE Healthcare. He holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a B.S. in Electrical & Computer Engineering from Marquette University, and is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
Melanie Rivers is Accuray's Senior Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer, responsible for global HR operations including compensation, benefits, learning and development, and communications. She joined Accuray in 2021 as Vice President, Global Human Resources and was promoted to her current position in 2024. She previously spent nearly four years as Global Senior Human Resources Director at Genus Plc and over seven years in HR leadership roles at Amcor Ltd. She holds bachelor's degrees in political science and German from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is a SHRM Senior Certified Professional.
Mu Young Lee rejoined Accuray in September 2023 as Senior Vice President, Research and Product Development, responsible for the strategic leadership and execution of the company's technology vision. He first joined Accuray in 2006 and his radiotherapy-industry experience spans R&D, product management, UX, product marketing and portfolio management, including leading development of a radiotherapy treatment system that generated more than $1B in business within five years of launch. He earned a Ph.D. in nuclear physics from the University of Michigan and an undergraduate degree in physics from Yale University.
Sofiane Laoussadi is Accuray's Senior Vice President, Global Services & Solutions, leading the company's global service organization including service delivery, customer support, lifecycle solutions and service growth across the installed base worldwide. He brings more than two decades of global leadership experience scaling service, operations and commercial organizations, with prior senior roles at GE Healthcare, Honeywell, New Mountain Capital, Ciox Health, SGS and Klockner Pentaplast. He is a GE-certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt and holds dual U.S. and French citizenship.
