About

Heather Dixon served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Acadia Healthcare from her appointment effective July 10, 2023 until her resignation effective August 15, 2025. Her separation from the company was not the result of any disagreement with other members of management or the company’s external auditor.

Ms. Dixon joined Acadia from Everside Health, where she was Chief Financial Officer, and brought executive-level financial expertise spanning the payer, provider and pharmacy sectors of healthcare. Earlier in her career she held senior finance roles at Walgreens Boots Alliance, Inc. as Senior Vice President, Global Controller and Chief Accounting Officer, and at Aetna (part of CVS Health) as Vice President, Controller and Chief Accounting Officer.

She serves as an independent director and audit committee member of Addus HomeCare Corporation, and holds a B.B.A. from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University.
